This flooring and stairs installation in Ottawa’s Malakoff neighbourhood focused on improving comfort, durability, and acoustic performance across the home’s second floor. We installed new hardwood flooring in the bedroom and hallway, fully retiled the bathroom, and rebuilt the staircase using premium birch and maple. The stairs were reinforced with structural screws anchored into the studs, eliminating movement and noise while enhancing stability. A new subfloor provided a level, solid foundation for all finish materials, ensuring long-term performance.
